December with the ZSO: music to warm the Advent season

The West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra invites residents and visitors to a series of December concerts full of festive atmosphere.

On Friday, 5 December, the programme Three Masters Symphonies with works by Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert, conducted by participants of the international conducting courses, will be performed at the Casino Social House.

On 19 December, a Christmas benefit concert will be held under the baton of Jan Mikoláš with soloist Nikola Valenta (piano), the proceeds of which will go to help Alena Hladíková and her daughter Barbara, who suffers from severe physical disabilities.
Advent time will culminate on 21 December at 5 pm at the Spa Colonnade, where the orchestra will traditionally perform the Czech Christmas Mass by Jakub Jan Ryba.

After a few years, a real New Year's concert returns to the town - on 1 January 2026, welcoming the New Year in a spirit of joy and harmony. The programme, subtitled A Toast to the New Year, will feature the most beautiful arias, polkas and waltzes by the masters of this genre.
Come and experience moments when music will connect the hearts of listeners and performers in a true Christmas atmosphere.
