We invite you to a concert inspired by the atmosphere of the grape harvest, featuring famous pieces full of dance, elegance and good cheer.
The programme will feature a selection of works by composers united by the themes of wine, celebration and the joy of life – from the overture ‘The Grape Harvest’ by Oskar Nedbal, through the popular waltzes and polkas of Johann and Josef Strauss, to the spirited Hungarian Dances by Johannes Brahms.
You will also hear musical tributes to vineyards and festivals in the form of the pieces Wine, Women and Song, Chianti-Lied, Under the Sign of the Vine or celebratory Champagne Kvapík.
Come and enjoy an evening full of familiar tunes, an orchestra and the atmosphere of a traditional grape harvest.
