Exhibition opening: ‘Celebrating 100 Years of the ZUŠ’

The official opening of the exhibition of works by pupils from the Art Department of the Fryderyk Chopin Primary School of the Arts in Mariánské Lázně will showcase works from the fields of Fine Art, Ceramics and Multimedia.   This year’s exhibition will be on the theme of ‘Celebration’. The theme has not been chosen at random. It is linked to the anniversary of the Primary School of the Arts, which celebrated its 100th anniversary this year. Visitors to the exhibition will therefore be able to view paintings, drawings, prints and ceramic pieces, as well as sculptures made from various unconventional, often recycled materials. Short animated films created by pupils from the Multimedia programme will also be screened at the exhibition’s opening. More than 170 pupils aged between five and eighteen attend the art programme at the Primary Art School, so the exhibition will offer a truly rich display of the children’s work. Works from the entire 2025/26 school year will be on display.

The opening will be accompanied by a musical performance by pupils from the school’s Music Department.
