Celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Music School

The grand opening of the exhibition of works by pupils from the Art Department of the Fryderyk Chopin Primary School of the Arts in Mariánské Lázně will showcase works from the fields of Fine Art, Ceramics and Multimedia.   This year’s exhibition will be on the theme of ‘Celebration’. The theme has not been chosen at random; it is linked to the anniversary of the Primary School of the Arts, which celebrated its 100th anniversary this year. Visitors to the exhibition will therefore be able to view paintings, drawings, prints and ceramic pieces, as well as sculptures made from various unconventional, often recycled materials. Short animated films created by pupils from the Multimedia programme will also be screened at the exhibition opening. More than 170 pupils aged between five and eighteen attend the art programme at the Primary Art School, so the exhibition will offer a truly rich display of the children’s work. Works created throughout the 2025/26 school year will be on display.

• The exhibition will run until 12 November 2026.
• The Chopin House Gallery is open every day from 10.00 to 17.00.
• Admission to the exhibition is 100 CZK; the ticket is valid for the entire Chopin House, including the Fryderyk Chopin Memorial.
• The exhibition can be visited in conjunction with concerts in the Chopin House Concert Hall.
