Mariánské Lázně’s fame as a spa destination for the treatment of urinary tract complaints is all down to the Rudolph Spring. The water from the spring can be consumed directly from the wooden pavilion but it is also stored and pumped to the spa pavilion on the Colonnade and to a water bottling facility in town. The water from the Rudolph Spring is used in drinking therapies and is sold in bottle form.
Treatment:
The water has a diuretic effect and is used to treat kidney and urinary ailments.
