Lucie Bílá has been active on the music scene since 1986, initially performing with rock bands, later starring in numerous musical theatre productions such as Les Misérables, The Garden of Earthly Delights, Dracula, The Pied Piper, Joan of Arc, Excalibur, Love Is Love, The Elixir of Life, Božena Němcová, Carmen, Aida, The Addams Family, and Sister Act.
She also appeared in classical music projects, including at the prestigious Prague Spring International Music Festival in 1998.

She has released 14 solo albums, contributed to more than 10 other CDs, and sold over 2 million records. She has acted in 9 feature films.

She has won the Czech Nightingale award for Most Popular Female Singer 21 times, including 13 Absolute Nightingale awards, 13 TýTý awards for Most Popular Artist, 3 Czech Grammy Awards for Singer of the Year, 3 Music Academy Awards, and 13 Anděl Awards, including the special Anděl for Singer of the Decade and Singer of the Quarter-Century.

In 2000, she was awarded the prestigious Thalia Award for her title role in the musical Joan of Arc. Since 2003, she has been co-owner of the Ta Fantastika Theatre in Prague, which was renamed in 2020 to the Lucie Bílá Theatre. She co-produced the musicals Joan of Arc, Excalibur, The Elixir of Life, Love Is Love, Božena Němcová, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Lady of the Camellias, as well as the plays 8 Women and The Product, and she was co-producer of the musical Carmen at the Karlín Musical Theatre.
