WBS: Christmas Charity Concert

The West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra cordially invites all lovers of classical music to its Christmas Concert, which will take place on December 19, 2025. Under the baton of Jan Mikoláš, the orchestra will perform works by two giants of Romantic music – Edvard Hagerup Grieg and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The first part of the evening will feature pianist Nikola Valentová in Grieg's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in A minor, Op. 16, one of the most beautiful and lyrical works in the piano repertoire. The second half of the concert will feature a suite from Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's ballet The Nutcracker, whose enchanting music is an integral part of the Christmas season. The proceeds from the concert will be donated to charity. Come and join us for a festive evening full of beautiful music and Christmas spirit.
