The West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra invites all lovers of classical music to the festive closing concert of the international conducting courses, which will bear the symbolic title Three Masters of Symphony. The evening will be dedicated to three composers whose work shaped the form of European music: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Franz Schubert. Each of them represents a different facet of the Viennese tradition – Mozart's ideal of purity and balance, Beethoven's passion and courage to cross boundaries, and Schubert's delicacy, melodiousness, and depth of feeling. Together, they form an arc connecting classicism with romanticism – a journey from perfect form to personal expression, from the world of reason to the world of emotion. Their symphonies still resonate with extraordinary power today and appeal to listeners across generations. The concert will feature young conductors from around the world who have developed their art under the guidance of experienced mentors. Their performances will shed new light on the music of these three geniuses – with energy, passion, and enthusiasm for the beauty of symphonic sound.
