Laura Drion Quartet

Laura Drion is a young jazz singer with an open, charming voice and a distinctive stage presence, who draws inspiration from Betty Carter and has released an album of Bill Evans' distinctively arranged music in Dutch, on which double bassist Stefan Lievestro also collaborated. She studied at the prestigious conservatories in Groningen and Rotterdam and is now active in several jazz projects, including her own quartet, LENA. Pianist, organist and composer Daniel Bulatkin (*1999), a prominent figure in young Czech jazz, has collaborated with leading international musicians, released two critically acclaimed albums and won the OSA award for the best Czech jazz composition of 2024. Together as a duo they have performed at festivals in Rotterdam, toured Switzerland at Christmas and toured the Czech Republic in 2025.
