We invite you to an exceptional concert by the West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra, which will combine classical tradition with the modern sound of the saxophone. The evening will open with the sparkling overture to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera Così fan tutte, followed by Lukáš Hurník's original work Variations on a Theme by Frank Zappa for two saxophones and chamber orchestra.
Soloists Pavel Fiedler and Kateřina Pavlíková will present the saxophone in unexpected colors – playful, virtuosic, and lyrical. The concert will conclude with Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 in C major, a fresh and energetic work on the threshold of a new musical era.
The orchestra will be conducted by Marek Prášil.
Come and enjoy an evening full of contrasts, dialogue between styles, and unique symphonic energy.
