Advent Markets 2026: 1st Advent Weekend

The first weekend of Advent will mark the start of this year’s festive season in Mariánské Lázně.

The Colonnade will be filled with Advent stalls, the scent of Christmas treats, festive music and carols. Visitors will be able to enjoy the Advent atmosphere against the unique backdrop of this historic spa town.

SATURDAY 28 NOVEMBER

• 14:00 CHRISTMAS CAROLS ON THE BARREL ORGAN
  Eva Haufová will liven up the Advent afternoon by playing well-known Christmas carols on the barrel organ for visitors.
  The distinctive sound of this traditional instrument will bring the magic of days gone by to the colonnade and create a beautiful musical backdrop for this pre-Christmas afternoon.
• 17:00 CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY
  One of the highlights of Advent in Mariánské Lázně. On Saturday at 5 pm, we will light the Christmas tree together and symbolically welcome the Advent season in the romantic setting of the Spa Colonnade. The lights, carols, Advent stalls and the magnificent spa architecture will create an atmosphere that makes it well worth visiting Mariánské Lázně even in winter.

SUNDAY 29 NOVEMBER

• THE HORN PLAYERS FROM KLADSKÁ – THE MAGIC OF FOREST HORNS
  The unmistakable sound of forest horns, performed by the Horn Players from Kladská, will ring out along the colonnade on Sunday.
  Visitors can look forward to Christmas melodies as well as an interesting performance featuring French horns, their characteristic sound and the tradition of horn-playing. The combination of French horns, Christmas music and the winter atmosphere of the spa colonnade will offer an extraordinary finale to the first weekend of Advent.
