WINTER REGION OF HEALING WATERS, 45. JOURNAL

On Saturday, 7 February 2026, the Czech Tourist Club, Department of Marianske Lazne in cooperation with the town of Mar. Lázně, Hotel School Mar. Lázně, the Municipal Theatre Mar. Lázně and the Krakonoš Hotel, a hiking march and, depending on the weather, cross-country skiing routes.

As the name of the event suggests - you will be moving on the territory which is interwoven with mineral springs. During the march you will be able to taste some of them. If you have to spare the snow - the organisers have prepared two special guided tours in cooperation with the municipal theatre. At the finish line in the Krakonoš Hotel, you will have the opportunity to visit the salt cave for a discounted price.

Cross-country skiers - if there is enough snow - can use the golf course near the finish with groomed ski trails of various lengths.

Hikers will be given route descriptions at the start in the hotel school building, which will lead them to the finish in the Krakonoš Hotel. They will be rewarded with a souvenir card, calendars, stamps, a health bar and IVV stamps. At the start and finish, everyone will have the opportunity to purchase a lunch menu at the tourist price!

Hikers who are limited by age or health can also participate in the event and use the cable car or public transportation buses to or from the finish line.

Another attraction of the march is a visit to the year-round open Miniaturpark Boheminium opposite the Krakonoš Hotel - the destination of the march.
