In addition to his own work, Jiří Pačinek has worked and continues to work for many other glass artists, designers and architects. He is the creator of the mascot for the Czech pavilion in the participation of Expo 2025 Osaka.

Jiří Liška
I don't see myself as an artist, but as a craftsman with an artistic sensibility. I advocate directness in my work and in my life. I create when it makes sense to me and I always try to make my work bring joy to myself and others. I see art as a tool to express feelings that are hard to describe in words. My artistic life has gone through several forms of combining different materials. For example, working obsidian with prehistoric tools has inspired me in my work. I use some of these experiences to shape my glass objects. I have a great affinity for lines and simple thinness, and glass helps me render these aspects beautifully with a little hard work.

Admission to the opening is free. After the opening, admission 70 CZK. The studio is open every day from 10:00 to 17:00.

The event is realized with the financial support of the town of Mariánské Lázně.
