The audience will listen to works by three German Baroque greats. They can look forward to Bach's orchestral suite with the famous Air and Bach's concerto for an unconventional solo instrument – the oboe d'amore. This is an alto instrument, a relative of the traditional oboe, which can be commonly heard at concerts of the West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra. The festive mood will continue with Telemann's Sonata in D major with solo trumpet and Handel's suite Music for Royal Fireworks , originally intended for outdoor performance at the English royal court.
