Christmas at the Chopin House

Christmas at the Chopin House will bring a magical Christmas atmosphere and a rich programme

The Chopin House in Mariánské Lázně will light up with festive cheer this mid-December and open its doors to locals and spa guests alike. From 13 to 20 December 2025, it will offer a week full of Christmas atmosphere, music, gatherings and traditional crafts.

Every day from 17:00 you can look forward to cultural performances, especially concerts. For example, Bára Červinková and her band Tribute to Zuzana Navarová, Lucie Víšková & Jazz Cakes, Dan Suchý Band, Petra Brabencová & Box of Chocolates and others will perform.

The programme will also include talks organised in cooperation with the Knižní lázně festival - psychotherapist Jan Vojtko and singer Dan Bárta will present their books and talk about their professional and personal inspiration.

Every day from 15:00 to 18:00 a Christmas market will be held in the courtyard of the Chopin House. Visitors will find candles, ceramics, ornaments, mistletoe, products of local craftsmen or honey products and, of course, traditional refreshments - mulled wine, punch, mead, pancakes and hot dogs.
The community centre and café "SetKavárna" also invites you to enjoy a pleasant stay, where you will not miss festive decorations, Christmas music and sweet pastries.

The Advent atmosphere will be enlivened by a children's theatre, Christmas workshops and a tree lighting ceremony.

Among other things, you can also look forward to film experiences. On the evening of Tuesday, December 16, a special "Christmas" edition of the film club will be held, with the romantic comedy and Christmas classic Love Actually.

The entire Chopin House will be festively decorated and lit, and guests will be greeted with Christmas music and atmosphere as soon as they enter. Admission to all events is voluntary. The full programme will be announced during October.

The Advent programme will be held thanks to the financial support of the town of Mariánské Lázně.
