A recommended starting point is Tyršova Street not far from the swimming pool. The trail leads into the deep forest where you can find the Bear Spring that rises to the surface in a hollow tree trunk and colours the brook red. Next up is Balbín's Spring that was discovered in 1853 during the extraction of peat for spa treatment purposes. The 4.5km-long trail then leads you to an old cemetery with a ceremonial chapel and to the Karola lookout, named in honour of the Bavarian queen. The trail ends in the park at the Forrest Spring in a quiet, secluded spot where there's a monument to the writer V. B. Třebízský. The adjacent park with its bandstand is decorated with a sculpture of the three Muses by Olbram Zoubek.
