Pianist Andrea Mottlová, who has a wealth of experience on both domestic and international stages, will present a varied programme of four great masters of piano literature. There will be Beethoven's famous "Moonlight Sonata", three intimate Intermezzi by Johannes Brahms, Frederic Chopin's brilliant Fantasie-Impromptu and Sergei Prokofiev's first sonata full of contrasts and energy.
After the intermission, Andrea Mottl will be joined by cellist Ladislav Mariaš to perform Grieg's Sonata in A minor - a monumental work inspired by Nordic folklore and one of the highlights of Norwegian Romanticism.
