AFTERNOON GAMES AT PRELÁT PARK

Contests, games and entertainment run by the “Dráček” (Flying Dragon) Municipal House of Children and Youth

At 3:30 PM, a festive, new game will be unveiled that is dedicated to the children of Mariánské Lázně by our sister city Weiden in celebration of the 200th Spa Anniversary in Mariánské Lázně and the 10th anniversary of sister city partnership.

the Dechový orchestr mladých (Youth Brass Orchestra) from the Fryderyk Chopin Elementary Arts School in Mariánské Lázně.

A TREE OF FRIENDSHIP

A ceremonial dedication of the “Black Pear” fruit tree, which is to be presented to the town of Mariánské Lázně by its sister city, Malvern, in celebration of the 200th Spa Anniversary. The same tree is on Malvern’s coat of arms.

DANCING COLONNADE

A performance of the Marjánek folklore ensemble, who focus on sharing and passing on folk traditions, customs and manners from the Chodsko region.

Featuring the composer of popular music and film scores, actor, singer, comedian, pianist and moderator who has remained popular across generations. Suitable for the young and the old.

Selfie point “Do you want to take a selfie at the fountain?” Anyone who takes a snapshot of themselves at the tagged location will receive a short, commemorative video with their own photo directly on their mobile phone

SPRINGIE TRAIL or I have all the springs under control with Springie

This activity is aimed for children between the ages of 3 and 12 and their parents. The trail starts at the Info Centre (Chopin House, Hlavní 47), where participants will be handed a “Springie Trail” map. The event is not organised and is free of charge.

Adverse weather can affect the length of the accompanying programme.
