Information about the elections to the European Parliament

On 5.6. and 6.6.2009 the elections to the European Parliament are taking place on the territory of  the Czech Republic.

 

A citizen of another European Union member state has the right to vote in the elections to the European Parliament on the territory of the Czech Republic when fulfilling the following conditions:

  • He/she is registered in the register of citizens and holds a residence permit on the territory of the Czech Republic
  • He/she applies to be registered on the EP elections electoral roll
  • He/she applies at the local municipal authority, where he/she is registered in the register of citizens, by the latest 26.4.2009 by 16.00 hours – in person or in writing on a standard form.
  • The municipality of the town of Mariánské Lázně provides this service at the department of the register of citizens on Sunday 26.4.2009 from 8.00 to 16.00 hours.
