The bust of Václav Skalník was unveiled in 1962. Václav Skalník (1779 – 1861) was the designer of the local parks. As the mayor of Mariánské Lázně, he succeeded in transforming the town from an unknown locale into an international spa resort.

Chopin memorial
Visitors may see this memorial in a park across from [A5] the "Casino" Cultural House. It was originally created to commemorate Walter von der Vogelheide, a German „minnesängr“, in 1930. Today's memorial is represented by a boulder bearing a medallion of Chopin's head, a masterpiece by the sculptor Otáhal from 1960. The text, of course, commemorates Frederic Chopin.

Memorial to Václav Beneš Třebízský
The Memorial to Václav Beneš Třebízský is hidden among rhododendrons. It commemorates the writer and priest Třebízský (1849 – 1884) and the last days of his life, which were spent here. At the time, he was acknowledged as the most popular Czech writer. Třebízský underwent treatment in Mariánské Lázně for the first time in 1873, and later in June 1884, since he suffered from tuberculosis. He succumbed to the disease on
