History:
The acidulous waters are weakly mineralized and is a sodium bicarboonate-calcium-magnesium-iron mineral water. The original well was deepened to a depth of 6 meters in 1920, the spring was used for carbon dioxide baths in the spa and also as a water feature in the newly built gazebo.
After the spa was nationalized and with the introduction of a winter season the collection of mineral waters increased so much that in 1956 the level of the ground water was reduced and the water feature in the gazebo was closed. Now there are plenty waters in the reserves, but it will still be necessary to re-built the water feature and repair the gazebo. So hopefully in time we'll be able to taste the waters of the Prelat Spring soon!
