Mary Spring

Gas springs (natural carbon dioxide).

History:

The Mary Spring is notable in Marianske Lazne because it was the first spring to be used for it's healing powers, even before the founding of the Spa. Powerful springs of carbon dioxide are dissolved into the shallow, circulating ground-water.

From the Mary Spring area hotspring gas is also collected for injection therapy. Previously, it was used in the dry gas baths in the Central Spa. The content of free CO 2 in the waters of the Mary Spring I to VI range from 2100 mg to 2480 mg in a total yield of 18.5 to 22.8 l / min. All the springs I, II, IV, V and VI are used for carbon dioxide baths in the New Spa.
