Second International music festival & music and fine arts competition 'Nokturno of Marianske Lazne'

This competition and festival celebrates the 170^th anniversary of  A. Dvorak and the 120^th anniversary of S. Prokofjev.

Theme of the festival: 'From classic to contemporary'.

The festival takes place between the 2^ndAUGUST – 9^th AUGUST 2011 in the town of Marianske Lazne. The town is one of the most famous and beautiful of spa towns in the Czech Republic. It is the most perfect location for such creative and varied programs as shown by previous attractions that have included numerous music and sport competitions, festivals, concerts, exhibitions and many other interesting cultural and sporting activities over the years. The festival is brought to you by the town of Marianske Lazne and in particular the Culture and Information Center of the the town (KIS: Kulturnim) which is located in Chopin House, also housing the museum of the famous regular visitor Frederik Chopin.
