How was the spring named:

Karolina Spring, bubbles up under the old colonnade under the church, where it was, in 1809 named the New Spring. In 1817 it was roofed by a dome with 8 corinthian columns and name in honour of the then Emperor Franz I - Karolina Augusta. The ceiling of the dome was painted by the painter Fuchs, a emperor's pose. Perhaps it wasn't a good likeness, because it was soon painted over. Under the dome, in 1870, pipes were brought in from Usovice, initially from Ferdinand Spring and in 1912 also from Rudolf Spring, while Karolina Spring got only in the baths of the New Spa. It is now accessible in the drinking hall.
