Royal Golf Club Marianske Lazne

The Marianske Lazne golf course is in the classic style of Scottish and Irish courses of the turn of the century. The 18-hole course lies at the foot of Slavkov Forest, 787 m above sea level and is largely on flat land. It was founded in 1905 and is one of the oldest courses in our country. The course was founded and ceremonially opened on 21.8.1905 by King Edward VII of England. After cutting the ribbon, the King signed the memorial book with his golden pen and became the first founding member of the club.

Marianske Lazne Golf Club is the only club in Central Europe that can boast such a significant history. The club became the venue for the world's most important amateur competition - the European Amateur Team Championship. The indisputable highlight the history of the club's right to use the title "Royal Golf Club (Royal Golf Club), generously awarded by the British Queen Elizabeth II in 2003 and followed by a visit of His Royal Highness Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.

The course consists of a compact, clearly defined area from which only two holes deviate, they were built in 1978 to replace a pair of very tight and cramped original holes. The greens are small in comparison to newly constructed golf courses, but well protected by bunkers. The course is mostly flat. At first glance it may seem easy, but there are many pitfalls that require a precise technical game.

It is largely surrounded by coniferous forests, making it pleasant even on very hot summer days. There are many places were the view opens out onto the surrounding countryside, which is natural and unspoilt by buildings.

Golf Club Františkovy Lázně

From 2003 Golf Resort Frantiskovy Lazne have run a golf course in the protected area of the Halstrov park, immediately bordering Bavarian and Saxony. This golf course is located within the village Hazlov - Ovčín, which is about 6 km from Františkovy Lázněand about 8 km from As. Rolling, very rugged and magnificent scenery surround the golf course which will easily satisfy even the most demanding golfer.

Golf Resort Karlovy Vary

The original golf club along with a 9-hole course was founded in 1904. Plans to build a new course were entrusted to the most famous of course designers of the day, Parisian architect C. Noskowski, under whose leadership an eighteen-hole course was completed in 1933. Details: Length 6226, Par 72, rugged terrain, the season from April to October.

Astoria Golf Club Cihelny

In May 2001, at the Cihelna in Karlovy Vary; after a long construction a new 18-hole course was opened, a so-called  "Scottish type" of golf course, a rather technical course with a par of 70. The area also includes 18 hole Honey Course (pitch & Putt) PAR 44. The Cihelna Golf Course is located in the wonderful countryside of western bohemia and was designed to flow into the picturesque Tepla river valley in the protect area of Slavkov Forest.

Golf Club Sokolov

18-hole golf course in Sokolov was inaugurated on the 28th September 2006, it is known as a masterpiece - 6288 m long, with a PAR of 72 The course was built on land belonging to the Sokolovska Coal board, in a project to redevelop and redevelop the land after the mining of brown coal. The architect was a German company, Stadler Golf Courses. Out of the monotonous "moon-scape" they built a course, which in terms of it dimensions, design and quality can geniunely be placed among the gems of Czech courses!
